PHOTOS OF SCENERY, NATURE AND PEOPLE.

Unless stated otherwise all photos are taken using natural light and limited use of filters to keep the photo as natural as possible. What you see is what the camera saw.

This site is dedicated to my wife Shirley who has stood behind me through all the years i've been doing photography. (Bitched about it a lot , But stood behind me.)

A lot of people ask how I take beautiful pictures and I find it really hard to tell them because most of the time I don't know. I see something and take a picture of it. Period.
I don't worry about f.stops, shutter, speeds etc .
These I just set according to what I think the conditions are at the time and take the picture.
There are a lot of pictures that do not turn out the way I would have liked them to but with practice these become less and less.

OLD CABIN

I found this old cabin in a conservation area near London Ontario. It just caught my eye and i knew it would make a great picture. Do you agree? The only thing I did to it was take out some safety poles in front of the cabin and darkened it slightly.

Basic rule of photography # 1

Always make sure there is film in the camera!!!!! A lot of people would say this rule does not apply anymore with the advent of digital cameras. Well go on a photoshoot and forget to bring a memory card then tell me it doesn't apply

Rule #2 -Make sure it is the right film for the Conditions and the picture you want.

rule #3 - PRACTICE,PRACTICE , PRACTICE

Let There Be Light

This Picture was taken on a cold winters day along side Belle River river . It is where the river empties into lake St. Clair .The wind was blowing the snow across .  It was cold and this picture was taken from inside my car, It was to cold to get out and set up tripods etc. I still think it turned out ok under the circumstances.
